Quilting success: Lee's first patchwork quilt nears completion

Lee proudly displays her new patchwork quilt while at the Rosanna house recently.

Today Lee Cameron finished the first stage of a patchwork quilt, her first ever. The beautifull blue and cream design flows like bluebells and blossoms in a warm cottage garden.

The final stitches in the joining-the-shapes stage were completed at a recent friendly evening at the Rosanna house.

Lee will now begin the backing and quilting work - a skill that is completly new to her, but one that she is sure to master with little effort.

When finished, Lee hopes to give the lovely soft quilt to her son Marcel Cameron and girlfriend Maria Voukelatos for their Brisbane home.

We wish Lee all the best encouragement with pursuing the joy of patchwork quilting for many years to come!

The marvelous patchwork quilt stands out in the Rosanna living room.
