Felix gets drivers licence amid family car surplus

Felix Cameron has been driving family and friends all around Melbourne since getting his drivers licence earlier this week, taking advantage of the temporary surplus of cars in the family.

Using Maria Cameron's little Toyota Corolla, Felix drives himself to school, to the movies, to friends houses, and to get take-away coffee during school hours.

Felix has looked forward to getting his licence for many months.

Taking advantage of Maria's absence overseas in Sweden, Felix has spent the last month preparing Maria's car, affectionately known as 'Charcoal Charlie', for his anticipated use of the car.

With Maria and Virgil Cameron both currently overseas in Scandinavia, there are two extra family cars for felix to use, a situation that Felix has been quick to take advantage of.

Now with his Probationary drivers licence, which allows him unrestricted driving (provided he has no alcohol in his blood), Felix has adopted Maria's car and transformed it into a bouncing, shining, sporty, speedy, clean and tidy jukebox-mobile.

Equipped with a huge new speaker in the boot, an MP3 music player, new seat covers and a steering wheel cover, Charcoal Charlie must just be as excited as Felix is, to transport friends and family wherever they need to go.

Felix already has plans to adopt Virgil's Subaru station wagon, but has been warned to be cautious with such a powerful car. Nonetheless, Felix is devising plans for the upcoming school holidays, to make a trip to Phillip Island - two hours drive south of Melbourne.
