On a summer morning in mid January, David, Lee, John, Yukima,
Virgil, Maria, Felix, Angelica and a friend, Eva, spent
a day roaming the streets, parks and cafes of Melbourne.
Early in the morning (well, not that early because the hot
summer sun was already high in the sky), the family started
their unplanned city tour with breakfast in the beautiful
north Melbourne suburb of Carlton.
Pictured above, David and Lee Cameron share a breakfast
with the rest of the family, at a street-side table of Thresherman's
Bakehouse, on Lygon Street, Carlton.
Melbourne's Lygon Street boasts arguably some of the finest
cafes in the city (just ask anyone from the Melbourne Cameron
family for confirmation), and many of the family's favourite
spots can be found in this historic Italian quarter of Melbourne.
Alternative cinemas, superb bookshops and tempting Italian
cuisine can be found on this trendy street.
